Biographical/Historical note
The Rosedale Park Junior Women's Club began in 1926 as the daughters of the Rosedale Park Senior Women's Club. The Junior Women's Club was founded as a benevolent, social, and educational organization. The Rosedale Park Junior Women's Club was involved in numerous community activities: the Northville State Hospital "Adopt-A-Patient " program, the Ruth Alden Dress Fund, the Penrickton Center for Visually Handicapped Children, and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. During World War II, club members volunteered at U.S.U. centers. The Club's activities dropped off during the early 1980's members moved away from Rosedale Park.
