Biographical/Historical note
According to Detroit City Directories, William A. Eldridge worked in the insurance business. In 1909 he was manager of the Fire Insurance Dept. of Parker Brothers Ltd. His daughter Theodosia lived with him at the time, and worked as a violin teacher for the Michigan Conservatory of Music. She later ran a music school from her home. Theodosia married George E. Tomkinson, and was a widow by 1953.
Biographical/Historical note
Theodosia Eldridge (later Mrs. George E. Tomkinson ) was a Detroit music teacher.
