Biographical/Historical note
Ruth E. Preston was born Aug 14, 1908 in Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from M.S.U. in 1931 with a bachelor's and master's degree. She earned an M.D. from Women's. Medical College, Philadelphia, Penn., in 1947. Dr. Preston's medical practice was in the Fisher building. She was an active Detroit club member: Children's Aid Soc. of Detroit, Zonta, D.A.R., Women's City Club and more. She died Nov. 12, 1972. Buried, Prestonville Cemetery, Macomb county.
