Biographical/Historical note

Horace S. Maynard was born on June 29, 1889. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1914 and served as secretary, director and officer for the personal holding companies of Fred J. Fisher, retired secretary and director of the Udylite Corporation, Detroit. Mr. Maynard was also a trustee of the Michigan Colleges Foundation and a president of the board of directors of the Detroit Children's Aid Society. He died in Troy, Michigan in December 1976.
