Biographical/Historical note
Daniel F. Henry was a civil engineer from Detroit. From 1872-1877 he served as chief engineer of the Detroit Waterworks, and during this time he supervised the construction of the new city waterworks. For many years he served on the U.S. Government Lakes Survey.
Scope and Contents note
Letters to D. F. Henry regarding his work as civil engineer, especially period when he was chief engineer of Detroit Water Works.
